Here and Now
Chap 1
"Nicky, just forget it! I’m going." She said, and then she was gone. The last memory of her was her going down the escalator out of view.
What had I done? Had I lost my one true love forever, the one person who had made my life so much exciting than my previous girlfriend who’d ran off with some politician’s son? Seems it took her 7 years to realize that we had nothing in common. Charming, wasn’t it?
The first 2 months since the break up were the hardest cos it was all over the papers, and then there was the non-stop questions about, up to the point, when I nearly had a breakdown over the whole thing.
I spent a few days at home in Dublin, with my family. They were understanding, and kept the press away from me.
It was while I was at home, I discovered Eilidh. Purely by accident, but it was as though God had led me to her. I was checking out some fan sites online, as I usually do, if I’ve got time too. I was on a site, and her entry in the guest-book seemed to catch my eye. So I thought I’d check out her site. I saw it was a Fanfic site. What I didn’t know, was that she was totally in love with me.
I started reading her fanfics, each one hitting me like a long lost memory, or a forgotten dream that I had, but couldn’t remember.
I contacted via e-mail, and when she replied, my heart knew that she was the one to mend my fragile heart. We kept in contact for ages, chatting via yahoo whenever possible.
That was 6 months ago, and a few days ago, was our first meeting face to face. It went horribly wrong, well, actually Georgina ruined it, by turning up at the hotel, and declaring that her fling with the other guy was nothing...She told Eilidh, that she wanted me back, and that Eilidh was nothing but a fill-in. Eilidh couldn’t take what was being said, and stormed out, I went after her. And that’s where this story begins...
