"Fee, isn’t that Gillian over there?" I said, after Mark had finished and the other girls had decided to hit the town. Fee stayed, saying she meet the others back at the house.
"Where? Oh my god it is!" Fee said, "Be right back!"
I could see Fee talking with Gillian, and Georgina. I wondered how long they had been here.
Fee came back with Gillian.
"Gillian, this is Eilidh." Fee said, as we all sat back down.
"Eilidh, it’s such a pleasure to finally meet you." Gillian said.
"Yeah, Likewise!" I said.
"So have you been here long?" I said,
"Um, not really, We heard half of Nicky’s song, Georgie’s a little annoyed to why he sang it. She’s just gonna ask him why he choose that song." Gillian said.
Fee and I look at each other.
"Maybe, he just felt like singing that song&ldots;" I said, looking over.
"Yeah, I mean I don’t get why Mark chose the song he sang&ldots;" Fee said, wondering&ldots;
"None of us do!" replied Gillian.
I sat there, wondering what Nicky would say to Georgina. I bet he wasn’t anticipating her being present when he sang that song. Why was I even wondering, what Nicky said to her, it has nothing to do with me&ldots;
Fee and Gillian went off, to talk alone. I didn’t mind, all I wanted a cup of coffee, then I’d go back to my flat&ldots;
Mark came over yet again.
"Hey, I see you’re by yourself again?" he said.
"Yeah, Fee and Gillian are catching up on gossip, I think!" I said.
"So, any plans for the rest of the evening?"
"Me? nope, off home after this coffee, its been a long day&ldots;"
"Nicky said you live close by,"
"Yup, next building is apartments."
I looked over at Nicky and Georgina, it was obvious that they were having a fight, I sat there, with my coffee, watching the fireworks. Soon Nicky stormed out, Georgina went over to where Gillian and Fee were&ldots; Shane went after him..
I could see Shane rushing out of the lifts back into the bar minutes later.
"Guys, Nicky’s not in his room!" he said, puffing..
"What?" replied the others.
"I went up to see if he’s alright, but he’s not there.."
"He can’t have gone far&ldots;maybe he’s found someplace to think this all over&ldots;" said Mark, looking at me.
"He had a nerve singing that song. What was the reason behind it? God, the sooner we get out of NZ, the better&ldots;" replied Georgina.
"And what’s that supposed to mean?" asked Fee.
"Don’t worry, its between me and Nicky&ldots;"
"No, I want to be enlightened by what your views are. Nicky sings a song, and you seem to think that there’s hidden meaning to it, when there’s obviously not&ldots;"
"Since when do you know how Nicky thinks, there’s always a hidden meaning behind the solo stuff he sings&ldots;Ever since he went on a ‘ShNicky’ with Shane, he’s not been the same&ldots;"
"Oh, so it’s all Shane’s fault is it? maybe if you weren’t so occupied with yourself, then you’d noticed that Nicky is a person too, and needs loving and stuff&ldots;" Fee spluttered.
Good going Fee, I thought.
"Yeah, its all Shane’s fault&ldots;Nicky deserved all the love I gave him, cos no-one else cared enough about him, to really show him how much they love him&ldots;"
The Cow, she caused Nicky to storm off, and now she’s slagging him off! Poor Guy, probably crying his heart out.
I finished my coffee, said my goodnights to everyone, and walked back to the apartments&ldots;
