Chap 2
"Nicky, let her go,
she’s worth nothing to you." Georgina said.
"Georgina, just go away.
Look what you’ve done. We aren’t an item any more, so get
over it, and stop ruining my life. And now thanks to you, I’ve
lost the one thing I truly loved." I said, walking away.
I sat down on the couch, with my
head in my hands. I didn’t notice anyone walking towards me.
"You okay?" said a
voice I knew well.
"Eilidh?" I said,
lifting my head.
"Of course." She said,
smiling back at me.
"Where did ya go?"
"I got as far as our room,
but then I realised you had the keys, so I couldn’t do much, so
I came back, and saw you sitting here by yourself."
"Never leave me again, I
can’t bear to be alone again."
"Nicky, I’d never not
need you, you’re all that I could ever need and more."
"Stop quoting Boyzone songs."
"Hehehe! Sorry, shall I do
westlife ones then? You make me feel and you’re the puzzle of my
heart. "
"You’re so funny, you
know that. I can’t wait for the fans to meet you, actually I
can’t wait for you to meet Kerry, you two will be like 2 peas
from the same pod."
"So is she going to this
fashion award bash tonight?"
"Yeah, she is. I don’t
have an outfit. Come on, lets go shopping, we need to look all
dressed up..."
"Glamour and Rock n Roll..."
We both cracked up laughing!
"So, what do ya think? "
Eilidh says, standing in this gorgeous Gucci dress. It was a deep
dark emerald green.
"You look very beautiful,
" I say, looking at her.
"There is a matching suit
for that particular dress, sir?" the lady said.
I jump at the offer, and minutes
later, we stand together, looking at ourselves in the mirror.
"We look amazing..."
Eilidh says.
"We’ll take them,"
I said.
Moments later, we catch a taxi back to the hotel, because people are staring at me, and wondering who is that beautiful woman is beside me.
"Nicky," Shane says, as
we get back to the floor we’re on.
"Shane, what?" I say.
"We’ve got rehearsals
for tonight’s show. Been shopping? Ooh Gucci! Let’s have a
look. Ooh nice..."
"Eilidh, do ya want to come?
Or are you gonna pamper yourself for tonight?"
"I think I’ll pamper
myself. Catch ya's later..." Eilidh says, carrying the bags back
to our room, not before planting a kiss on my head.
"Nix, you look very glowing
today, in fact you never used to glow before." Shane said, going
down the escalator.
"Shane, you’re pulling
my leg, or are you truly being serious?"
"I think she put a spell on
you. In the time that I’ve known you, you’ve never looked
as glowing as you do today?"
