A Fragile Heart

Part 2 Part 3

Oh my God, they were on my floor. The Kettle boiled off, I made a cup of tea and got into bed to get warm. My mobile rang.

"Hello," I said,

"Eilidh, where the hell are you?" said Fee.

"I’m at my hotel. I know I should have rang but after the lads left, I grabbed a taxi cos I was a bit wet."

Wet? You mean, you were out there in the rain, watching them getting into their car."

Yeah, I did. And it was worth it&ldots;"

"Really?"

"Yeah, cos things got a little unexpected. I wasn’t alone in my taxi back to the hotel"

"WHAT?? Tell me all!!!"

"Well, Nicky saw me standing in the rain, and came and talked to me, and we got a taxi together. They are staying at the same hotel, and on the SAME floor!"

"Real? Lucky!! Damn, phone’s running out of money, talk to you later! and NO going knocking on other doors!"

"I don’t do that, I think that’s Chloe, when you dare her to!!&ldots; I’d let them knock on my door though. See ya!"

I sat in bed, seeing what was on television, nothing much. I feel asleep.

Hours later, I woke up, to the sound of someone knocking. I got up, and went to the door, it was Nicky.

"Hey," I said,

"Hey, did I wake you or something?, I didn't mean to.." he said, looking worried.

"Its okay, you’ve come for your coat?" I said, going to get the coat.

"Actually, no. I came to see how you were?" he said, taking his coat.

"I’m alright, I’m just gonna head out for a bite to eat, and then an early night, I think."

"Can I join ya?"

"Excuse me? Oh, out for a bite! Sure if you’re not busy?"

"What did you think I meant? Oh I get it now, well I’m not that type of guy to do that, that’s more Bryan’s area!" He said, laughing.

I grabbed my shoes, and my bag, and closed the door.

"Haven’t you got any plans with the other lads, this evening?" I said, as we were in the lift.

"Uh, nope. I told Anto that I had my phone with me, if anything came up."

"Ok, how does Italian sound?" I said, pointing to the Italian restaurant across the road.

"Fine with me."

We both crossed over, and went in. They weren’t busy, so we managed to get a table.

It was a delicious meal, and we both shared a dessert, then headed back to the hotel.

"Nicky, thank you for the company tonight."

"No problem, thank you as well!"

.......Fee pokes me out of my reminiscing&ldots;"Eilidh, I’ve just seen the plane come in, come on, lets get a good spot!!"
