Part 5 

As I walked back stage, I felt as though I was only half there. But I wasn't really expecting Georgina to be backstage!
"Nicky, what a nice surprise to see you without your shadow" Georgina said, sweetly.
"What do ya want?" I asked.
"You know what I want, but I know I lost that chance now forever." 
"Stop dreaming!" I said, to Georgina.
"Nicky, you coming or now?" Shane asked.
"Sure!" I said, walking after Shane.

"So, what did SHE want?" Shane asked.
"I think she wants me back!"
"And how do ya feel?"
"Confused,"
"Oh? Why's that?" Shane said, walking into the dressing room.
"Shane, I don't know. I sometimes dream of the future, but it always has G in it. I don't want to hurt Eilidh."
"You got it bad, Nix. You just have to listen to your heart. And hope like hell, that your heart tells
you what you really really want."
"Thanks Shane!"

I stood there, getting dressed. I could see what Shane was saying. I couldn't hurt Eilidh, now after all we'd been through&ldots; so I decided that Georgina was history!

"All I really want to say, 
is that I've never ever found,
 anyone like you before, 
and what we got is here and now!" 

The applause broke, I stood there, staring into the crowd, trying to spot her, and when I saw her, I couldn't believe it, but Georgina was talking to her. I wanted to get off the stage and see what was being said, but I couldn't!

"And the final award is for best band in the world," said Cat Deeley. "The nominees are 5ive, A1, Westlife and Reel!!"

I stood backstage, breathing deeply. All I wanted to do, was to go out there, and give Eilidh some support, who knows what G was saying to her.

"WESTLIFE!!!!!!" Cat revealed, to our amazement. We all bounced on stage, and I was like scanning the crowd for the table, I could only seen Andy, and Kerry was comforting someone. Suddenly I knew it was Eilidh. I whispered to the other lads that I needed to get back to the table, and explained why. So I said my thanks first, and then I excused myself and I walked back to the table!

"Nicky, thank god you're back." Kerry said, still holding her arm around Eilidh.
"Eilidh, it's me." I said, sitting next to her.
Just silence.
"Eilidh, talk to me, babe. What did she say?"
"I don't want to talk about it, Nix. It hurts!" I sat there, holding her in my arms, comforting her. 
"Kerry, what happened?" Bryan said, when the other lads got back to the table
"We were just sitting here, and she came over, and starting saying things, horrible and untrue things about what Nicky had said about Eilidh supposedly. Eilidh took it really bad, and well."

"It's okay Kez, it's all over now." Bry said.

"Don't believe what she say. I never said whatever she claims I said, I don't know why she said them! I love you Eilidh, you know that." I said, looking into her eyes.
"Nix, I love you too!" Eilidh said, hugging Nicky.

"Guys, catch ya later back at the hotel, I don't think I'll join you for the party." I said, standing up.
"Bye Nicky. Eilidh, if you need someone to talk with, ya know girl-to-girl you know where I am." Kerry said, smiling.
"Thanks Kez. Bye guys, hope I haven't ruined your evening." Eilidh said.

We got back to the hotel, the press were outside,  obviously they'd gotten word of the incident at the awards and were wanting the scoop.

We walked past them, not saying anything, but they got the proof they needed that something had happened, but the sight of Eilidh's tear-stained eyes, and the messy make-up.

Eilidh went straight into the bathroom, as sure as we got to our room. I heard her be sick, I ran into the room.
"E, you okay?" I said, concerned.
"Yeah, I'll be fine. I just felt a little under the weather." Eilidh replied.
"Let's get you into bed, a good nights sleep will do ya good."
"Nicky, why do your words sound so soothing." Eilidh said, feeling a little better.
"I don't know. Can you manage?" I asked."
"Yeah, thanks!" She said, washing her face, and walking back into the bedroom.

Minutes later, I walked out to the bedroom, to find her already in bed, her eyes shut.
"Night my sweet darling." I whispered, as I gave her a quick kiss.
"Night Nix," she softly said.

We were woken in the morning by a loud knock on the door. 
I got up to answer it.

"So Nicky, is she still with you???" Georgina asked.
"What do you think?" I asked.
"What do I think? I think she's crazy and insane, for staying with you, ya know!" 
"What is your game plan? Cos you're losing the plot!"
"Nicky, I'm guessing it's over!"
"What?"
" So when will you be telling her that we're getting back together?"
"HUH? You just said, it was over, and now you're talking like though we're together again.
"Yeah, come on, face it! Your heart is missing me!" 
"Excuse me," Eilidh said, barging past the two of us. 
"Eilidh, come back," I say, looking at her back.
"Well, she's gone! So where were we?" Georgina said, with her eyes sparkling.
"Nowhere! I'll tell ya where we are! OVER, FINISHED, NOT TOGETHER, so JUST GO AWAY!!!" I say, slamming the door.
